Really relieved that Duncan has been accepted into Abbey College in September It seems to be a good school and he is actually quite excited about going there. When we went to the open evening last October we couldn't get him out of the science block.

I had vowed 6 years ago that I was never moving again. I am currently surrounded by people packing my house into boxes and then into lots of vans. It is amazing watching your life being packed away. When I get to the new place I think Duncan and I are just going to crawl into bed and hide. Carol, Gary and Nick can take over for a while. I am so tired but at least from tonight we will be living together again in our new home. And so the adventure begins. It is a good job we have a vision for how we want the place to go. There is still so much to do but at least we will be doing it together.

From the book Goodknyght

"How bad?"
"Well," said Rose carefully, "on a scale of one to ten, with one being 'Cuddly as a Snake' and ten being 'Diabolically Ferocious, Unspeakably Cruel, Breathtakingly Callous and Totally Without Mercy' - the Dragon of the Ragged Mountain scores about twenty-five."

WHO WANTS A PRESENT???

The first SIX (6) people to respond to this post will get something made by me. It will be about or tailored to those six who respond first.

This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:
-- I make no guarantees that you will like what I make.
-- What I create will be just for you.
-- It'll be done this year.
-- You have no clue what it's going to be. It may be a mix tape. It may be fic, or a poem. I may draw or paint something. I might bake you something and mail it to you. Who knows? Not you, that's for sure!
-- I reserve the right to do something extremely strange.

The catch? Oh, the catch is that you have to put this in your journal as well, if you expect me to do something for you!

Have spent most of the afternoon and evening trying to get my pc to stay up enough to backup some files and delete things to make space. I have lost count of how many times it has core dumped today. It won't let me add/remove programs so need someone who knows more than me. I am not hopeful for using it much over the weekend.

Have stayed in all day for a British Gas engineer to come and look at the heating in Perry because it keeps cutting out. Have just had a phone call to say that they have had so many emergency calls that the engineer will not be coming and the first time he can get here is Monday.

Spa
I am currently trying to work out how soon we can get the 8 foot spa installed at the new house. With all the injuries we are starting to get it I think it had better be sooner rather than later. I think the sound system which uses the spa itself as the speaker may have to be retro fitted later as I don't think we can justify the cost right now. Sitting in 39 degree water with just the sound of the trees and a glass of something cold is one of the best ways I know to spend an evening.

Heat
We now have heat and hot water to the annexe at the new place. That combined with the bonfire and some excellent food should make for a very good Yule party.

Got some pictures of THAT DRESS that Carol put onto facebook. I have made this userpic out of one of those pictures. Isn't it strange how pictures never seem to reflect how you were really feeling.

Cats
We currently have 2 cats living with us. I have not had cats before but they are very affectionate and want lots of fuss. One of the cats Az is apparently an amazing hunter. A neighbour has put notes through people's doors to say they have lost a lop eared rabbit. Please, please please don't let me find two ears and a fluffy tail.

Is it actually possible to drown in paperwork? I am currently trying to do a VAT return, end of year accounts, remortgage one house, buy a new house (just as the world's financial markets melt into a pile of goo on the carpet) and clear 6 crates of filing/deal with.

If you can't find me it is probably because all the paperwork has merged into one giant heap and has buried or eaten me or I am hiding in a corner going wibble.

Foot
Well my foot is still badly bruised and very tender in places so I went to my doctor. He thought I should get it x-rayed. There wasn't a doctor to review the x-ray but the radiographer doesn't think there is a break and will show it to a doctor later. Hopefully it will be alot better soon. Since the fall I have not been moving very well but I am going to see the wonderful Mark the chiro who will hopefully sort me out.

The role playing guys last night were saying that cat and I were a wicked combination. We were thinking just wait untill Carol is there as well. Cat started to say See no evil, hear no evil, do no evil and realised how wrong that was and that with the 3 of us as anti monkeys it would be See,Hear and Do. Evil is a relative term and we see it more as doing a public service.

I have just been to slimming world and have put on 3 1/2 lb. I am really fed up. Although I have lost enough weight to need a smaller leather corset I need to get this weight off. I have got to get serious about this.

Another 2 1/2 lbs lost which makes a total 1 st 2 lb so far. Need lots more sexercise. Hopefully I can borrow a particular husband as mine is currently not well. He has a really bad mouth infection which is making it difficult to eat and speak. I don't think he was very impressed with the 10 year old continualy wanting him to say words with s in them because they sound funny. I have to be honest that I would find it funny as well if he wasn't in so much pain.

I went swimming yesterday with darling son for the first time in 2 1/2 years so today I am shattered. I now need to get on the wii fit and keep going. Duncan is a bit unsure about joining in with the jamming gig on Saturday. Hopefully he will have the courage to do it as I think he would really enjoy it.
